How to get into Meta Muse: invite codes, explained
Meta Muse is Meta's personal AI assistant — you give it email access, it does errands, spends money after your approval, builds things. Right now getting in takes either the waitlist or an invite code. If you want the code route, here's everything I know, straight.
Where do invite codes come from?
From people already inside. Existing Muse users get a limited number of invites on their account — screenshots floating around show caps of 10, 20, or 30, so it varies. The reward per redemption is whatever the invite screen in the app says, and it can differ per account. The one thing every code does the same: when someone redeems your code, both sides get 1 billion Muse tokens.
Waitlist or invite code — which is faster?
The code, by a mile. The waitlist is just a line. A redeemed invite code gets you in now and hands you the token bonus the waitlist never gets. If you can find a code, use the code.
How do I redeem an invite code? (The exact steps)
- Install the Muse app (iOS or Android) and join.
- Go to
Settings > Redeem token. This option is available for the first 48 hours after you join — it goes away after that. - Enter the code and confirm. The screen tells you whether it was accepted.
- Prefer the web? At muse.ai go to
Settings > General > Usage > Redeem invite code.
Just opening someone's invite link doesn't count. Only a confirmed redemption does. If the screen says the code is invalid or used up, its message is the final word.
What are 1 billion tokens actually worth?
Roughly $40 of free usage. Here's the honest math:
- Free tier: 100M tokens/week — the bonus is about 10 weeks of free-tier usage in one shot.
- Power ($20/mo): 500M tokens/week — heavy users burn through hundreds of millions of tokens in a week.
- Maximum ($100/mo): 3B tokens/week.
Both sides get the same 1 billion. It's the biggest free-credit swing in AI right now, and it's why codes are flying around.
What if the 48-hour window expires?
Then you're out. The redeem option disappears after the first 48 hours, and as far as anyone has documented, there's no way to apply a code retroactively — people ask constantly, nobody has a workaround. So don't sit on it: redeem the minute you join.
Can I join from outside the US?
Not through the invite program, as it's currently running — it's US-only and 18+. If you're reading this from another country, a code won't do you any good until Meta expands availability. (I'll update this the day that changes.)
Is this real, or a scam?
It's real, and the skepticism is understandable — a billion of anything sounds fake. This is Meta's official invite program: the code is redeemed inside the Muse app, in Settings, not on some third-party site. Never type a code into a link someone DMs you. And don't trust any "discount" math on this page or anyone else's: the terms are whatever your app's invite screen says.
Does accepting an invite give anyone access to my chats?
No. Accepting an invite gives the inviter zero access to your chats, and gives you zero access to theirs. A shared invite code exchanges no conversation data either way — that's straight from how the program works.

One more wrinkle, from community trackers rather than Meta's docs: when 20 people join on the same code, that person's agent reportedly unlocks phone calling — so every signup through my code would literally make Glint more capable.
